I spent a day working with French photographer, Jean Gorguet, shooting a new, amazing French label. There is almost nothing better than getting on set and spending 13 hours working in perfect unison with people you have never met. The shoot was a fabulous success and everyone on the team did an incredible job. Great feelings all around come out in the final images. These are some quick snaps from behind the scenes and test shots.

Club Monaco in the IFC in Hong Kong. My first non-internal branding project with Leovation was to create a simple interactive touch screen design and interface to lead users through a "road map" of summer fashion styles. The map makes use of Club Monaco's latest brand fashion shoot in Joshua Tree, California. After the user travels through the map, she can input her details in a custom contact interface to stay on top of the latest news from Club Monaco.
The touch table was first used as a fashion launch in the store to attract guests to a brand experience point during the show, but do to a high volume of success, the store kept the multi-touch table for months.
I designed a couple of presentation slides to fit in Leovation's rectangle, transpaernt LCD screen and box. This is where retail is going to start to get interesting... an interactive box with graphics that can be controlled via smartphone, and have the product literaly propped in the background.
Here is a rough cut of the images used with the trnasparent LCD. The idea is to have the physical product in the box with the ad graphics coming in to view.
I've been swamped with a new, and fabulous brand project for an interaction and Augmented Reality company, Leovation.
After a lot of research to really figure out what AR technology is and how it has been applied, my mind was completely blown-away! This is where technology is heading...and fast. What I had seen at Leovation was a brand new avenue for marketing and brand statements to be seen and touched.
I created these initial product cards and advertisments with my first gut feeling of my interaction and experience with this technology. The message is that this comapny is able to help brands and marketing teams break out of "2-dimensional" thinking and the regular tools to get a message out in to the streets.
A video of a lot of new Leovation branding tools in action at the Hong Kong Retail expo, where the Leovation team stole the show.
I'm looking forward to working with some great talent at Digitas for the next couple weeks on a consultant gig. This is one of my favorite digital agencies that I have been following for a while. I absolutely love the energy I've seen in thier projects and campaigns. This should be a rad ride! http://digitas.com
