Art
Fine Art vs. Communication Design
There is a distinct difference between Fine Art and Communication Design. Art pleases me when I'm making it, Art gives me fresh ideas and perspective on other projects, and refreshes my wall space on a regular basis. Art keeps my hand drawing skills sharp... as sometimes you never know when you need to draw out an idea in a client meeting, and it helps win a project if the client is wow'ed if you can draw beyond a stick figure!
While my sketch book isn't made for communication design, I hope it gives another artist, Art Director or Creative Director some eye-candy for a minute or two!
